purchasers shall at their own expense reinstate and make good the same and shall indemnify the Government of Hong Kong from and against all costs charges damages and claims whatsoever which shall or may be made suffered or incurred through or by reason thereof, If in the opinion of the Director of Public Works the purchasers shall at any time be in default under this condition then (in addition to any other rights or remedies herein provided for breach of any of the conditions hereof) the Director of Public Works shall be entitled by notice in writing to call upon the purchasers to carry out such construction and/or maintenance or to reinstate and make good any falling away landslip or subsidence and if the purchasers shall neglect or fail to comply with such notice within the period specified therein the said Director may forthwith execute and carry out the same and the purchasers shall on demand repay to the Crown the cost thereof.

The design dispositions and height of any building or storage tank to be erected on the lot shall be subject to the provisions of the Buildings Ordinances and Regulations for the time being in force in the Colony.
(8)
The piece of ground marked Crown Reserve on sale plan may be used for such purpose as the Government may think fit and the same for such purpose be cut away or filled in or the level thereof may be altered. The purchasers shall not be entitled to compensation for any damage to the lot resulting from any such user, or cutting away, filling ir or alteration of level.
(9)
The purchasers shall have rights of access to the lot from the nearest road or roads and for this purpose shall be granted rights of way over intervening Crown Land along a line to be agreed with the Director of Public Works such grants to be in such a form as shall be approved by the Land Officer.
(10)
No supply from the Government Waterworks will be available. The purchasers shall make their own arrangements with regard to water supply.
(11)
The purchasers shall at their own expense construct and maintain to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works such drains or channels as may be necessary to intercept and carry off storm-water falling on or flowing on to the lot from the hillside, and the purchasers shall be solely liable for and shall indemnify the Government and its officers from and against all actions, claims and demands arising out of any damage or nuisance caused by such storm-water, and shall at all times during the continuance of the demise remain responsible for the maintenance and repair of such drains or channels whether within the boundaries of the lot or on Crown Land.
(12)
The purchasers shall not without the prior consent of Govern- ment interfere with any existing drain, waterway or nullah adjoining the lot or have any right to the water therein.
(13)
The training or culverting of the water-courses within the area edged red on sale plan shall be carried out by the purchasers to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works with such materials and in accordance with such design and dimensions as he may approve.
(14)
Any damage or obstruction caused to any nullah, storm-water drain, or other Government properties adjoining the lot by the purchasers, their servants or agents shall be made good by Government at the cost of the purchasers, and the amount due in respect thereof shall be payable by the purchasers on demand,
